Home Trust of Skagit
is built on a strong foundation and supported by our members and our community partners. Our mission is to serve as steward for an expanding stock of permanently affordable, owner-occupied homes by the long-term preservation of subsides. Working together for affordable home ownership in Skagit County will result in strong and sustainable communities now, and for future generations of home owners . As a member you have many choices for involvement - whether you attend meetings, volunteer your time/services, attend our events, or simply renew your yearly membership, your contribution is important and valuable.
To become a regular member, please fill out a membership form that states your support of Home Trust of Skagit's mission, submit the annual dues of at least $35 per year, and continue to learn more about the Home Trust of Skagit community land trust model of home ownership as we update you about our progress in Skagit County.
As a Regular Member of the Home Trust of Skagit, you are offered:
- Member Representation - provide input, vote on matters related to the organization, and nominate and elect Board Members (become a Board Member)
- Attend Meetings and Events - you'll receive periodic newsletters, annual reports, notification of membership meetings, and invitations to all events
- Committee Participation - participate on board committees of your choice to influence the process of affordable home ownership and contribute your perspective and strengths toward the progress of the Home Trust of Skagit
- Celebrations - join our celebrations as projects are completed
Invite your friends & family to join and participate in creating affordable home ownership for people who may not otherwise be able to purchase their own home in Skagit County communities. |
